This recipe uses fresh raspberries, but you can use frozen if you thaw them and drain all the liquid. I put them on layers of paper towels to absorb the liquid.
1 cup maple syrup
2 -1/2 cups fresh raspberries
Heat maple syrup and raspberries on medium heat. Mash the raspberries while they are simmering. Simmer for 3 -4 minutes. You can also put the this sauce in a blender to puree into a smooth sauce for ice cream, pancakes, crepes, biscuits, vanilla pudding or yogurt.
